Could Sloan be Bucks' next coach?
By Nick Borges
The Milwaukee Bucks are in the process of making their list of candidates to interview for their head coach position and one name that might be added is Jerry Sloan, the former long-time head coach of the Utah Jazz.
According to the Deseret News, Bucks beat writer, Gery Woelfel of The Journal Times, told a Milwaukee radio station that Sloan could be in the mix for the job.
"I talked to a couple of friends of Jerry Sloan's within the past couple of days, he definitely wants to return to coaching, and the other interesting facet is that he wants to coach in the small markets, one similar to Utah, so I think Milwaukee qualifies as that kind of environment," said Woelfel.
Chris Tomasson of FOX Sports Florida spoke with Sloan on Thursday and he might consider coming out of retirement.
“Yeah, probably, if I thought it would be the right situation,’’ Sloan said.
So far Milwaukee, Charlotte, Detroit and Philadelphia have not called Sloan.
