Way back in March when many fantasy leagues were holding their drafts, the second base landscape seemed far different than it is today. Then, there seemed to be a quartet of names at the top of the list deemed worthy -- at least according to ADP -- of being in the overall top 40: Robinson Cano (9.5), Jason Kipnis (24.3), Dustin Pedroia (25.1) and Ian Kinsler (36.8).

Today, according to the ESPN Player Rater, we see five other names from that position finding their way into the fantasy elite thus far this season: Brian Dozier (No. 4), Dee Gordon (No. 6), Daniel Murphy (No. 27), Jose Altuve (No. 28) and Howie Kendrick (No. 32). Although Kinsler pretty much is giving his owners what they expected -- he's ranked No. 40 overall -- we don't see any of the other usual suspects in the top 100.
