We're nearly halfway through the 2013 baseball season, and obviously, we've seen some good, some bad and some Josh Hamilton. This week in the KaraBlog, we'll take a look at each team at the midpoint of the season and discuss what has happened and what should happen. Let's move along to the American League Central.
Buy low: Outfielder Dayan Viciedo hit 25 home runs last season. He's not as bad as he has looked so far. (Thought I was gonna say Paul Konerko, didn't ya?) And Jake Peavy will be worth adding as well, once he's healthy.
Stat to watch: Alejandro De Aza has apparently decided to hit more home runs, at the expense of strikeouts and batting average. I liked the 2012 version more.
I was wrong: OK, Konerko is done. I get it. And I thought Tyler Flowers could hit 20 home runs.
