Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Zack Greinke struck out nine San Diego Padres and allowed two runs over six strong innings Monday in his second start of the season, a more successful outing than last week. Greinke has 15 strikeouts in his first 10 NL innings, and is a must-start in all formats. He's scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Pirates this weekend.
Pirates catcher Ryan Doumit had three hits and an RBI on Monday, continuing his hot streak. Doumit, mainly relegated to reserve duty, is 6-for-10 with two home runs and eight RBIs in his past three starts, raising his batting average to .295. He's been a top-10 catcher before, and the Pirates would love to play him and make him trade bait.
