Spring storylines: National League
The lineups can get a little crazy, and the top hitters generally leave after a few at-bats. Players with futures not likely to include fantasy stardom tend to produce big numbers. The starting pitchers get an inning or two as they cautiously get stretched out. The closers are sent to pitch in the fifth inning, sending fantasy owners into great panic. Yep, the spring training games are finally here. And I couldn't be more pleased.
Let’s go team by team with fantasy storylines we should be keeping an eye on. It’s not always about the stats in March -- in fact you’re better off not looking in most cases -- but there’s still a lot to watch. Here is the National League first, and then the American League on Friday.
