A mere four teams have scored more runs in June than the San Diego Padres, and they’re achieving this feat because two outfielders many fantasy owners believed to be beyond repair have carried them. Nobody has been better statistically this month than Wil Myers, as he’s hitting .326 in June with 11 home runs, 31 runs batted in and five stolen bases -- Jose Altuve and Ian Desmond are the only players who have posted those numbers for the season -- while Melvin Upton Jr. has six home runs, eight steals and 16 runs scored. Fantasy owners were and are predictably slow to believe in this duo; Myers is finally up to 91 percent owned in ESPN standard formats but Upton remains available in half of leagues. Each homered and stole a base Tuesday.
But is it time to sell high on them?
