We’re coming up on the dawn of early signing period and many of the big dogs in the Class of 2013 plan on tabling decisions until the late period, while begins in April. While we’re likely to have a new member of the 2013 class (Dakari Johnson) as soon as this week, we may need extra time for his situation to play itself out.

In looking over the hit list for some of the top schools, one involved with a handful of good players hasn’t been given the proper credit for its work. Because they only have one commitment, few are talking about the Georgetown Hoyas. Sure, they landed forward Reggie Cameron (Paterson, N.J./Hudson Catholic) and he’s a ESPN 100 guy, but that's only one commitment.

Well, the Hoyas aren’t done. Look at who they’re involved with. By my count, they’re interested in three potential McDonald’s All-Americans. Power forward Noah Vonleh (Haverhill, Mass./New Hampton) is scheduled to visit Georgetown Dec. 14 for his official trip. And the Hoyas are one of two finalists for center Kennedy Meeks (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte); North Carolina is the other.
