WINSTON SALEM, N.C. -- It was great, not good, to be back in a high school gym, watching high school teams scrimmage. Only days removed from the start of hoop practices, the second Winston Salem Prep Jamboree brought together eight teams littered with nearly a dozen Division I prospects spread out over the sessions.

The top dog from the day was junior small forward Caleb Martin (Mocksville, N.C./Davie County). The recent NC State commit carried himself with an extra dose of confidence and it showed in his play. He hunted dunks, knocked down jumpers and was the most dominant player in the two games we observed.

The Pack owns commitments from Caleb and his twin brother, Cody. Teams decided to test Cody in the lane and he was a terrific help-side shot blocker. Caleb is a small forward who could moonlight as a shooting guard.
