Don’t look for the New Mexico Lobos to pop up on St. Mary’s schedule after the 2012 season now that junior guard Cullen Neal (Albuquerque, N.M./El Dorado) -- son of Lobos assistant Craig Neal -- committed to the Gaels.

“I know all the New Mexico stuff, so I don’t think they’ll be scheduling them anytime soon,” Neal said.

What Neal also knows is scoring. He’s tossing in 28 points per game for his high school team, including 46 points in one contest. Arizona State, Stanford, San Francisco, Gonzaga and yes, the Lobos, wanted him.
