Despite being selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Michigan offensive line commit Chris Fox (Parker, Colo./Ponderosa) won't be participating. The ESPN 150 lineman recently suffered a torn ACL and says he will be out for six months.
The recovery for that type of injury can vary, but it's definitely not good news for the senior lineman. Fox is in San Antonio for the all-star game to watch and says the injury did happen while playing football.
Michigan already has five offensive line commits with Fox, Logan Tuley-Tillman, David Dawson, Patrick Kugler and Kyle Bosch, but the Wolverines are still targeting other prospects. Lineman Cameron Hunt (Corona, Calif./Centennial) will be visiting Michigan officially on January 11, and Dan Samuelson (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) and Dan Skipper (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley) have already taken trips to Ann Arbor.
