Channing Stribling (Matthews, N.C./Butler) was a surprise addition to Michigan’s 2013 class. He earned an offer after an outstanding performance at the Wolverines’ summer camp and committed shortly after, but the commitment took some fans by surprise.

It brought up questions on his ability since there were higher-ranked defensive back prospects still interested in Michigan at the time of his commitment. Stribling was aware of the situation, but says all that matters is what’s between him and the coaches.
