Michigan put an offer out to 2013 defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes (Auburn, Calif./Placer) on Tuesday.

"I have a lot of interest," Vanderdoes said of the Wolverines. "I mean, it's Michigan. They have a lot of history. It's a great program."

Vanderdoes said he spoke with special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Dan Ferrigno on Monday and that the coach had asked for him to call back on Tuesday so he could have a chance to speak with the whole staff. It was on that call that the Wolverines' staff offered him.
