This year might not offer the same depth of top-tier West region offensive linemen that the 2012 class produced, but there is no lack of overall ability. Headlining the list of uncommitted West Coast offensive linemen is Scott Quessenberry (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon).

The nation’s No. 2 center and No. 189 recruit overall, Quessenberry has offers from programs across the country. But the 6-foot-4, 276-pound lineman said that with written offers now coming in, he hopes to begin narrowing his list of potential destinations.

“With all of these verbal offers, anything can happen,” he said. “But once you have the written offer, it’s the real deal.”
