Huskies walk-on commit recaps official

(Shelton, Wash./Shelton) was treated to a trip through the Husky Stadium renovations, the Washington walk-on running back commit thought about what is in front of him.
The 5-foot-10, 206-pound senior has a chance to earn his opportunity as a walk-on prospect. He plans to make the most of it.
“It’s going to be cool,” he said. “I’m going to try my best to earn my spot and see how things go."
When asked to recap his official visit, Kinne said the stadium tour was the best part.
“I think it’s going to be fantastic,” he said. “That’s why a lot of the players want to go there for, the new stadium, the new experience that’s going to be there.”
Kinne was joined on the trip by offensive lineman
(Los Angeles/Loyola) -- he committed during the visit -- twins
(San Diego, Calif./Lincoln), linebacker
(Harbor City, Calif./Narbonne) and
“They’re great guys,” said Kinne, whose hosts were
. “We all mingled like we knew each other forever.”
During the trip, the coaching staff reinforced the idea that Kinne will get his chance to earn a spot in the lineup.
“Whatever I do, they play the best players,” he said. “It’s all up to me and how I perform.”
