Top 2014 WR is leaning way west
By Dave Hooker
Just as his recruitment is getting started, Chigozie Onyekwere can see an end to the process.
The receiver prospect from Washington (D.C.) Friendship recently picked up a scholarship offer from Washington. Even from across the country, Okyekwere is impressed.
"I really like UW," the 5-foot-11, 188-pound prospect said. "They have everything I want in a college that I would be at for four years. If things work out, this recruitment process might end early for me."
While an early commitment to the Huskies seems a strong possibility, other schools will keep after Onyekwere. Recruiters from Washington, Ohio State, Marshall, Notre Dame, Colorado and Alabama were at his school to see him last week. Onyekwere also has a scholarship offer from NC State.
