Facing a short week and an opportunity to pick up its first road win of the season, Washington spent last week focused on football, not recruiting.
However, considering Northern California is an important recruiting region for the Huskies, Friday’s 21-13 win over Cal provided another chance for the program to show recruits the program’s progress.
Washington dives back into fray on the recruiting trail this week with its final home game of the season Saturday against Utah at CenturyLink Field. Confirmed official visitors already include USC commits defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes (Auburn, Calif./Placer) and safety Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo). Offensive lineman Aaron Ve’e (Alameda, Calif./Encinal) is also expected to take an official visit, with the senior looking to land a scholarship offer.
With a list that is expected to get longer as the week progresses, the Huskies' matchup with the Utes could prove to be the biggest recruiting weekend of the season.
