BOTHELL, Wash. -- It helps to have a father who has experience coaching at the high school level.

Keynan Foster (Mill Creek, Wash./Jackson) is learning that lesson on a daily basis as he works toward his goal of earning a Division I scholarship.

The 5-foot-8, 155-pound sophomore often spends free time on a football field with his father, Selwyn, working on the skills that will make him a complete football player.

“We worked out a lot,” Foster said. “Before football season, he took me out there and we worked really hard.”
