Keenan Curran (Federal Way, Wash./Federal Way) was so impressed by what he saw at Washington’s practice Saturday, the safety decided to test out some of the Huskies’ defensive drills on his own.
One day later, he corralled a couple of friends and went to a local middle school that has a turf field. He started to train for his future.
“It makes me work harder that it’s in view,” Curran said. “Just that you can see it, playing at the Pac-12 level or even playing in college. It makes you work a lot harder. It makes you want it a lot more.”
