SEATTLE -- When Washington announced its 2013 recruiting class, there was plenty to celebrate.
The Huskies landed five members of the ESPN 300. They brought in eight four-star recruits. They addressed needs throughout the program.
But, of the 22 prospects in the class, there were only four in-state products -- linebacker Sean Constantine, kicker Cameron Van Winkle, defensive tackle Andrew Basham and tight end David Ajamu.
It wasn’t the deepest year for local talent, but the number shows the Huskies have tried to broaden their recruiting base. However, that doesn’t mean the program isn’t interested in the talent in its back yard.
With that in mind, here are 10 in-state prospects to pay attention to in the 2014 recruiting class:
