When Tom Luginbill looks at the 18 verbal commitments Washington has secured for its 2013 class, the Senior National Recruiting Analyst for ESPN.com sees a group that addresses significant areas of need.
“Where I think they’ve really made inroads is with offensive playmakers, the defensive front and the offensive front,” Luginbill said. “If you look at their 18 verbal commitments, that’s where most of the players are littered throughout.
“Sark (Steve Sarkisian) knows as well as anybody, especially through his days at SC, that if you’re going to win championships or compete for championships, you’ve got to build the team from the inside out and you’ve got to be strong in your trenches.”
