LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- With four officials already done, Priest Willis (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza) is trying to figure out his fifth and final trip in the next couple of weeks.
Three schools, all from the Pac-12 Conference, are in the mix.
"I have one more left, but I still have to decide which one I am going to take," he said today while at Under Armour All-America Game registration at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. "It is going to be either ASU, UCLA or Washington."

EL CERRITO, Calif. -- When Keilan Benjamin (El Cerrito, Calif./El Cerrito) is flushed from the pocket, or when the 6-foot, 160-pound quarterback needs to find his “bailout man,” or when he has to make a play, he gets the ball to Keith Benjamin -- his twin brother.
“We’ve played with each other all our lives,” Keilan said. “It’s like another security blanket. During a game, when you see broken plays, I can always find a way to go to him.”

When Myles Jack (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue) was asked about the role Marques Tuiasosopo played in his decision to commit to UCLA back in June, the 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker said the coach “pretty much sold me on UCLA.”
After hearing the former Washington quarterback was leaving his job as the Bruins’ tight ends coach to become the Huskies’ quarterbacks coach, Jack now has something else to think about as he decides where he will play college football.
“He was really heavily involved in my recruitment and everything. He was pretty much the person that got me to go to UCLA,” Jack said. “It has a big impact on me, because he recruited me.”

Auburn (Calif.) Placer football coach Joey Montoya has never had a player like ESPN 150 defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes in his program before, but he now knows why recruiting can be an overwhelming process.
Vanderdoes took a step back Thursday night by decommitting from the USC Trojans, and Montoya was not at all surprised by the decision.

NOVATO, Calif. -- On the San Marin High School campus, a building overlooks the football field.
On that building, a mural runs the length of one wall. It reads: Home Of The Mustangs. The name of the team’s mascot is written in large yellow letters with a green background. Charging horses are painted above the "M" and "S."
On a recent afternoon, not long before San Marin released its students for winter break, Manny Wilkins stood in front of that mural and looked down at the football field.

EL CERRITO, Calif. -- After seeing what D.J. Calhoun (El Cerrito, Calif./El Cerrito) can do on a football field, Kenny Kahn is happy he is the 2014 standout’s coach, instead of an opponent the linebacker has set his sights on.
“I would never want to play against him, because I see how hard he hits,” the Gauchos’ coach said.

Freedom (Oakley, Calif.) running back Joe Mixon now holds six offers. Mason Kelley caught up with the 2014 recruit to get the latest.
Austin Hooper sat in a chair and held up one hand. He rubbed his thumb over his index and middle finger, a silent sign for money.
Hooper’s Concord (Calif.) De La Salle teammate, Michael Hutchings, had just been asked to come up with the perfect Christmas gift. He could have anything. Money wouldn't be an issue.
While the USC commit tried to come up with an answer, Hooper laughed as he tried to slip in the suggestion.

As soon as Danny Mattingly (Spokane, Wash./Mead) arrived at Oregon for his official visit, he got sick.
“I got really bad strep throat,” the four-star recruit said. “My throat just got really swollen. I didn’t do very much more than just kind of lay around. I got to see a practice, but I just got really sick the day I got down there.”
The 6-foot-5, 218-pound inside linebacker had already made the trek to Eugene, Ore. over the summer. He felt like that unofficial visit provided a good understanding of what the university had to offer.
