Washington Huskies: Texas Longhorns
There are times where it seems as though defensive end Keisean Lucier-South (Orange, Calif./Orange Lutheran) is playing a video game out on the field, as the 6-foot-4, 200-pound defensive end can be a terror on both sides of the ball. Off of it, Lucier-South said life has begun to reflect a virtual reality as well.
It began this past December, when the sophomore made contact with his first college coach. But rather than the usual feeling-out process recruits and coaches go through, Lucier-South was thrust immediately into the ranks of the early offered. That first offer came from Boise State.

SAN ANTONIO -- Wednesday was a day off for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl teams. Instead of working out and participating in drills, the players took in visits around the city -- including a stop at the Alamodome for photo opportunities and to see their game apparel -- and used the day to recover from two days of practice.
The teams will return to the fields on Thursday in arguably the most important practice of the week. Here are five things to keep an eye on for Thursday’s practice:

Northern California has produced some impressive linebackers over the years, and 2014 has another special product in outside linebacker D.J. Calhoun (El Cerrito, Calif./El Cerrito).
The ESPN Watch List standout held early offers from Utah and Washington before adding a big one from one of his favorite programs. On a recent visit to UCLA, Calhoun was talking with Bruins' wide receiver Kenny Walker when linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich pulled him aside and told the junior linebacker that he had an offer from UCLA.
"I was excited," Calhoun said. "I like UCLA a lot. The players are really cool and the coaches are cool, especially the linebackers coach. I've always kind of liked them, but recently I really started looking into them and seeing how they play."

Ouachita Parish might have lost offensive tackle Cameron Robinson to district rival West Monroe, but there is still a talented Cam on the Lions' roster this year.
Junior wide receiver Cameron Sims figures to be quite a heralded prospect for 2014 in his own right, along with his former teammate. However, Robinson is still waiting to hear about his eligibility this season after a last-minute transfer to the Rebels' roster.
Sims has no such issues, focusing on Ouachita's season and beyond. He already holds scholarship offers from Louisiana-Monroe, Northwestern, Southern Miss and Washington. But he's on the radars of several bigger names who have yet to offer. He camped at LSU and Texas this summer, and he said those two and several other power programs are making sure they keep tabs on him.

Tanner Sanders never wants to leave the football field.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound athlete will start a game at quarterback but will also spend time at receiver. If one of his Corvallis (Ore.) Crescent Valley teammates needs a break on defense, the junior is the first player to sprint onto the field.
Show him the keys to the bus and he would volunteer to drive the Raiders home from road games.

Wide receiver Devon Allen (Phoenix/Brophy Prep) released a top-15 list in early July, but that group is beginning to narrow as the 6-foot, 187-pound speedster focuses on fall visits and finalists.
Allen did plenty of traveling and research this summer as he visited several Pac-12 and Big Ten campuses. But his first official visit will be to an SEC program, as Arkansas will host Allen on Sept. 14. It is the only trip Allen has firmly scheduled, but official visits to Notre Dame on Sept. 21 and Texas on Oct. 5 are also possibilities. With so many programs in the mix, Allen will eventually settle on five official visits, but that likely won’t be the end of his travels before signing day, as several unofficial visits could take place as well.
“I would like to visit Washington, UCLA and Ohio State hopefully as well,” he said. “I’ve been to Ohio State and Notre Dame already, so I’m not sure which one I’ll go visit again. I’ll have to decide. Notre Dame is showing me a lot of interest.”
