SAN ANTONIO -- Wednesday was a day off for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl teams. Instead of working out and participating in drills, the players took in visits around the city -- including a stop at the Alamodome for photo opportunities and to see their game apparel -- and used the day to recover from two days of practice.

SAN ANTONIO – ESPN 150 wide receiver James Quick (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) has drawn plenty of attention for his play through two practices for the East team in preparation for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
He’ll garner even more eyes his way on Saturday when he announces his commitment during the game.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder said he is down to Louisville, Ohio State and Oregon. Though his decision will come Saturday, it could be finalized by Wednesday morning, as he sits down to discuss his options with his parents, who are in town for the event.

Despite a being a long-time commit to UCLA, one of the top players in the Northwest has been open to other schools continuing to recruit him. LB Myles Jack (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue) recently helped Bellevue -- one of the nation's top teams -- to another state title. Now that his senior season is complete, Jack appears to be turning all of his attention to the recruiting process.
The US Army All-American LB is happy with everything about UCLA but wants to explore what other programs have to offer. After earlier flirting with the Oregon Ducks, the two seemingly parted ways over the past couple of months. Ducks' LB coach Don Pellum visited Jack last week, and the two realized that both sides deserve another look.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound three-star prospect recently set four official visits that will all be taken after his trip to San Antonio, Texas, for the U.S. Army All-American Game. Jack has settled on official visits to Arizona State, UCLA, Washington and Oregon.

Junior tight end Bryce Dixon has been one of the driving forces behind Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure's strong 5-1 start this season, and while the 6-foot-2, 228-pound athlete has been slowed the last two weeks by a high ankle sprain and broken thumb, his recruitment is picking up speed.
After receiving his first scholarship offer from Miami in early September, Dixon added offer No. 2 on Thursday, when he spoke with Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian.
"I've expected it because they said last Thursday that they were going to offer on Monday," Dixon said. "When that didn't happen, I was kind of shocked that it came today. I know it's a great school, but I don't know much else about them."
