USC commit, ESPN 300 DE talks Aggies

By Sam Khan Jr.

Houston Alief Taylor defensive end and USC commitment Torrodney Prevot had an in-home visitor from his home state Wednesday night.

The ESPN 300 prospect, who has been committed to USC since July, is still being courted by other schools.

USC commit Torrodney Prevot says he has always loved Texas A&M and he hasn't ruled out the Aggies.
He visited Wednesday with Texas A&M defensive line coach Terry Price.

The Aggies are still after the 6-foot-3, 201-pound U.S. Army All-American. Prevot said Price was there to address any questions and concerns that might exist.

Prevot hasn't set an official visit to Texas A&M, but is considering doing so. He was impressed by what the team accomplished in its inaugural season in the SEC.

"They had an amazing year, just to come back from all the doubters and the naysayers that thought they weren't going to do anything," Prevot said. "They've come a long way and I see a fight in A&M."

While he remains committed to USC, the four-star prospect said that Texas A&M, Notre Dame and Oregon are schools that he is still considering. He said he still loves USC.

He also had positive feelings about Texas A&M, a school that has long recruited him. That hasn't changed.

"I still love it there," he said. "They're a great school, great program, great coaches, they're doing great things, so I like everything about them."

Prevot also praised Price.

"He's an amazing guy," he said. "I know he's a great dad and a great coach."

With national signing day just weeks away, Prevot is sifting through what the other schools recruiting him have to offer, and comparing them to the Trojans before making a final decision.

"[My plan is to] just write down everything and make a list of pros and cons of each school and just see if SC is still the place for me," he said.
