PASADENA, Calif. -- USC had to wait until national signing day for a handful of local prospects this year and might have to do the same next February, with ESPN Junior 300 safety Marvell Tell (Pasadena, Calif./Crespi) being a likely candidate to announce his decision late.
Scholarship offers have continued to roll in for the 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete, who has seen his list inflate to over a dozen offers. As a result, Tell is no closer to a choice and doesn’t anticipate that changing until at least the fall.
The likes of USC, UCLA, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Vanderbilt have offered, but the four-star prospect does not have any leaders.
