LOS ANGELES -- Ty Isaac (Joliet, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) -- the No. 8-rated running back -- made the trek out West this past Thursday for his official visit to USC as part of what was a big recruiting weekend for the Trojans. Having committed to USC back in May, the trip did nothing but solidify his commitment to Lane Kiffin and Co.

Scott Powers/ESPNChicago.comA visit to USC confirmed Ty Isaac's decision to join the Trojans next year.
“I had a good time,” said Isaac, who rushed for almost 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2012 despite missing significant time due to shoulder and groin injuries. “Obviously my stance on USC has not changed, and it won’t throughout the rest of the process. I know a lot of people have been asking, but I’m set with where I’m at.”

With Isaac having already been to USC on three separate occasions, this trip was less about discovering anything new about the school or football program than it was about relaxing and enjoying time spent with his future teammates.
