1. Marqise Lee: This is the first time in 2012 that someone else besides Matt Barkley has been in the top spot, but that’s what happens when you have a superhuman 345 receiving yards (a Pac-12 record) on 16 catches with two touchdowns with 123 kickoff return yards to boot.

2. Matt Barkley: Somebody had to be throwing the ball to Lee. In fact, Barkley set a record of his own on the day with a USC-best 493 passing yards (he also had four rushing yards to set an overall USC yardage mark as well).

3. T.J. McDonald: This game illustrated McDonald’s importance, good and bad. He led the team with 13 tackles and was far and away the most productive defender, but he also had two critical personal-foul penalties.

4. Robert Woods: Lost somewhat in the big day by Lee was the fact that Woods also managed to catch nine balls for 93 yards, a pretty good day for the vast majority of receivers in the country.

5. Dion Bailey: Mr. Steady was his usual consistent self with nine tackles (second on the team) and two tackles for loss.

6. Max Tuerk: He was the first true freshman to start at left tackle for USC in the modern era, and he promptly committed a personal foul on the opening drive that probably cost the Trojans some points. Tuerk has a chance to rise up and grab the starting spot for good in the coming weeks.

7. Andre Heidari: The Trojans have a real weapon in Heidari, but he did not attempt a field goal against Arizona in a game that ended up being decided by three points.

8. Silas Redd: At this point in the season it appears Redd will be the primary USC option at tailback. He had 57 rushing yards and a touchdown, but he also had one key fumble.

9. Morgan Breslin: The Trojans weren’t able to get any sacks against Arizona as Breslin was limited to two tackles and two pass breakups.

10. Josh Shaw: He was third in the team in tackles with six as the Trojans look to solidify the cornerback spot opposite Robey.
