Drew Russell/IntersportAll-American Max Redfield faces fellow USC commit Kylie Fitts of Redlands (Calif.) East Valley on Friday night.
Redlands (Calif.) East Valley at Mission Viejo (Calif.): After a much-needed bye week, defensive end Kylie Fitts of Redlands East Valley looks to avoid losing to a fellow Trojans commit for a second straight game. Fitts and REV stumbled on Sept. 14 against Su'a Cravens and Vista Murrieta, the state's third-ranked team. REV couldn't muster any offense that night and was routed, 59-14. It doesn't figure to get any easier this week against Mission Viejo and USC free safety commit Max Redfield, who has starred on offense in recent weeks.

Louisville (Ky.) Trinity vs. Louisville (Ky.) St. Xavier at University of Louisville Papa John's Cardinal Stadium: USC defensive end commit Jason Hatcher had four sacks and forced a fumble last week in a game that was televised nationally by ESPN2. Needless to say, he wasn't shy in front of the cameras. This week, Hatcher will play in one of the state's biggest rivalry games, which usually draws more than 30,000 spectators. Trinity (5-0), the No. 3 team in the ESPN 25 power rankings, looks to stay on track against St. Xavier (4-2).
