“If defensive end Jason Hatcher commits to USC tomorrow, the Trojans will only have one scholarship left for the class of 2013. List three players you would consider for that final spot and why.”

Garry Paskwietz

DL Torrodney Prevot (Houston/Taylor): It appears as if LSU is the leading school for Prevot right now but he could get a full court press from the SC coaches to gauge his interest in the Trojans.

ATHs Tyree Robinson and Tyrell Robinson (San Diego/Lincoln): The only way this really makes sense is if Lane Kiffin knows he has two spots available and with the crazy world of recruiting there is certainly a chance that could happen. These are versatile athletes who could end up at any number of spots depending on team needs.

OL Laremy Tunsil (Lake City, Fla./Columbia): Yes, this is a longshot right now as most every indication has him staying closer to home in the South. However, we continue to hear rumblings that his interest in USC is legit and he maintains that he will take an official visit. Stranger things have happened.

Greg Katz

DB Vernon Hargreaves III (Tampa, Fla./Wharton): He’s just too good to pass up, and he’s already shown great interest in the Trojans. He could be automatically eliminated if the two below jump on the final offer quickly.

DE Joe Mathis (Upland, Calif./Upland): A stellar defensive lineman in the Trojans own backyard? A no-brainer, Mathis could find the Trojans recruiting exit sign if he continues to wait.

DB Tahaan Goodman (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Rancho Cucamonga): If given the opportunity, the kid should grab the final offer before the other two above. It’s a cardinal and gold recruiting feeding frenzy out there.

Blair Angulo

DB Priest Willis (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos de Niza): A safety in high school, Willis will likely play cornerback at the next level. With top-ranked corner Vernon Hargreaves III trimming USC off his list, Willis is a great alternative.

S Tahaan Goodman: What if Max Redfield, despite his preference to play safety, ends up playing offense? Goodman is one of the better safeties still available.

OL Sean Harlow (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente): USC has two offensive line commits but a team can never have too many big guys. Plus, he's the son of former Trojan great Pat Harlow.
