Trifecta for Kiffin

Make it a triple for USC head coach Lane Kiffin with the third verbal commit of the day for the Trojans. This one is big, as the Trojans needed to land another big-time defensive lineman, and there is nobody better on the West Coast than Eddie Vanderdoes (Auburn, Calif./Placer). He spoke enthusiastically of the Trojans during The Opening and said USC had a "great" chance to land him. Well, he wasn't lying.

Here's part of the ESPN scouting evaluation for Vanderdoes:

Vanderdoes (6-foot-3, 302 pounds) is a defensive tackle with the tools to be a highly productive player in the trenches. He has very good overall size and a frame that looks capable of supporting more good mass with further physical development.
