USC head coach Lane Kiffin has yet to release an official end-of-spring depth chart but here is a breakdown of how things look for the Trojans as they head into the final week of spring:
The only battle going on here is between Wittek and Kessler to be the No. 2 guy heading into the season. Nothing was decided this spring and the competition will carry over into fall. Jesse Scroggins put himself in a hole with academic issues that caused him to miss much of spring.
It’s easy to imagine that Tre Madden would have been right there with Morgan in terms of getting reps behind McNeal. Now Morgan will have that back-up role all to himself, at least until Allen shows what he can do. Allen has the last three practices of spring to give a lasting impression before the off-season.
