For the second time in a matter of weeks, an Arizona guard has decommitted from USC. Larry Lewis (Scottsdale, Ariz./Arcadia) joins Dewayne Russell (Peoria, Ariz./Peoria) as players the Trojans have lost from the 2012 class this March.
Neither decommitment comes as much of a surprise and both were mutual splits. Lewis will reclassify to the class of 2013, while Russell will reopen his recruitment. These decommitments come on the heels of USC gaining a commitment from local guard Brendyn Taylor (Los Angeles/Fairfax) in early March. When Taylor signs with the Trojans in April, USC will still be two players above the scholarship limit of 13 for the fall and will need to see some additional roster movement over the spring and summer.
