Westlake pounded Westlake Village Oaks Christian 43-21 in a Marmonte League showdown on Thursday night. Westlake rushed for 444 yards against the Oaks Christian defense, led by quarterback Justin Moore's 226 yards.

Redlands East Valley outlasted Mission Viejo 10-7 in a game devoid of running backs. The Diablos were missing their top three runners, including USC commit Jahleel Pinner, while the Wildcats were without their top two tailbacks. REV's lone touchdown came when a punt hit the leg of a Mission Viejo player and bounced into the end zone, where the Wildcats recovered.

Bishop Amat held on for a 38-35 victory over Venice. Southern Methodist commit Gabe Marks nearly led the upset for Venice, as he was responsible for 131 receiving yards, 112 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
