Nobody argues that current Trojans athletic director Pat Haden was a wonderful quarterback during his playing days at USC and that he has a reputation of being an even a better person off the field. In fact, old No. 10, as a legitimate Trojans football legend, has been the epitome of a positive public role model.
And nobody argues that Haden is one smart academic dude. However, did his scholarly acumen tell him to circle the wagons with the release of last Friday’s video supporting his head football coach, which was just hours before the Pac-12 Conference media picked Haden’s beloved Trojans (gulp) third in the South Division?
