Big 12 fantasy football: Week 3
By Max Olson
Three weeks in and we’re all tied up. Brandon Chatmon picked up his first victory of the season in the Big 12 fantasy football league, thanks to solid contributions from nearly all of his starters.
Jake Trotter made the risky decision of signing no quarterbacks this week. Bryce Petty was on bye and David Ash was injured. That risk did not pay off. He also ignored his vacant kicker spot and yet still finished a close second, one point ahead of yours truly.
The two biggest fantasy scorers in the Big 12 on Saturday were two guys who weren’t on any of our rosters. Oklahoma’s Blake Bell would have scored 34 points in his first start of the season and Iowa State receiver Quenton Bundrage would have scored 32 points against Iowa.
Through three weeks, each of us has one victory. Here’s a look at how the scoring played out in week 3.
