The dominoes for the 2014 class of Texas defensive backs have begun to fall. Perhaps the biggest so far came Monday, when Lancaster (Texas) athlete Nick Harvey surprised many by giving his pledge to Texas A&M.
When it comes to scholarship offers, Nick Watkins is right up there with the best of the best. The Dallas Bishop Dunne cornerback holds offers from Alabama, Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and a handful of other big-time programs.
Now that Bishop Dunne’s season is over, he’s ready to start focusing on his recruitment. But he’s in no hurry to end this process.
