Here's what Jason had to say about the conference's good play so far this season:

The Big 12: While it may not be the best in college basketball, the conference has surpassed expectations thus far. Baylor and Missouri are undefeated and in the top 10. Even after Monday's loss to Davidson, you can never count out Kansas to win an eighth straight Big 12 title. And one-loss teams such as Oklahoma and Kansas State have been pleasant surprises and legitimate contenders for NCAA tournament berths. So, too, is Texas, which has bounced back nicely from early season losses to NC State and Oregon State. The Longhorns have won seven straight games by double digits.
