AUSTIN, Texas -- ESPN 150 offensive tackle Jake Raulerson (Celina, Texas/Celina) is so far along in his recruitment, being as solid a Texas commitment as one could be, that he attends Longhorns games now simply to cheer his future team on.

The No. 55 player in the country wasn’t able to help the record crowd at Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium will Texas to a win, but he came away impressed with the effort from both the team and its fans.

“We couldn’t get it done last night but it was an incredible game,” said the four-star recruit. “I think it was the loudest 'Texas, Fight' that I’ve heard my entire life. There was one time when the whole stadium was cheering when it was unbelievably loud. It got a point where it was loud, loud.”

Raulerson said that he would try to attend the Texas-OU game next week but would have to find another way of getting tickets because Oklahoma is the home team.
