AUSTIN, Texas -- Class of 2012 four-star athlete Orlando Thomas (Copperas Cove, Texas/Copperas Cove) was one of several Longhorns commitments that made their way to Austin for an official visit over the weekend. He came away feeling anxious to get his career started at Texas, which will come in January.

“I had a great time hanging out with the guys and getting to know them because at football games you never really get to know who they are,” said Thomas, the No. 33 athlete overall in 2012. “That was my biggest highlight of the visit.”
