Texas in the mix for Kendall Sanders

December, 1, 2011
AUSTIN, Texas -- U.S. Army All-American Kendall Sanders (Athens, Texas/Athens) recently became one of the top uncommitted wide receivers in the nation with his de-commitment from Oklahoma State earlier this week.

The Longhorns, in need of another receiver for their 2012 class, are one of the six schools he is still considering, according to Athens coach Paul Essary. The others are Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and TCU.

“There have been a lot of colleges interested in him like you would figure,” Essary said. “He has narrowed it down to his top six choices and those are basically the only ones he is talking with or having any type of communication with. He told me those are the only ones he is interested in at this time.”
