ESPN Junior 300 RB picks Longhorns

October, 13, 2013
Texas pulled off a 36-20 upset victory over No. 12 Oklahoma on Saturday, and that led to a recruiting victory on Sunday.

ESPN Junior 300 running back Jordan Stevenson (Dallas/South Oak Cliff) became commit No. 9 for Texas’ 2015 class, one day after he attended the Longhorns’ victory in the Red River Rivalry.

Stevenson chose Texas over offers from Arkansas, SMU and Utah State and said he’d been receiving interest from Oregon, Notre Dame and Ohio State. He’s ranked No. 182 in the 2015 ESPN Junior 300 and 27th in the state of Texas.
