SAN ANTONIO -- Longhorns cornerback commitment Antwuan Davis (Bastrop, Texas/Bastrop) could have pouted. The ESPN 150 cornerback could have sulked and tucked his head when he wasn’t named a starter in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday.
But that’s not in his character. He knew being invited to this game is a once in a lifetime opportunity and was out to make the best of it.
So he told the West coaches to put him on special teams, in particularly on the field goal block team. He had already blocked two in practice.
