Class of 2015 tight end Jordan Davis has been offered by Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma recently.
When Houston Clear Lake 2015 tight end Jordan Davis committed to Florida State in March, the Seminoles were the only team that had offered him a scholarship.

Several other teams threw their hats in the ring after he committed, and Davis always maintained that he would keep his options open.

On Wednesday night, the 6-foot-4, 247-pound prospect officially decommitted from the Seminoles, he confirmed via text message.

The news is likely a good sign for Texas A&M, the latest school to offer Davis. He attended the Aggies' one-day camp on Sunday and confirmed on Wednesday that he will be back in College Station, Texas, on Thursday to see the campus.

"I never got a chance to look around [the whole campus]," said Davis, who visited Aggieland for the Maroon-and-White spring game in April.

Arizona State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Texas are the other programs who have offered Davis thus far. He originally committed to Florida State on March 19.

Last month, Davis said getting a Texas A&M offer would be a "game-changer" in his recruitment, citing the Aggies' proximity to his home, their membership in the SEC and their recent success. He landed an offer for them Sunday night after his camp performance.
