Aggies' 2013 recruiting wishlist

By Sam Khan Jr.

Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin and his staff have been busy since arriving in College Station.

With more than six months left until national signing day, the Aggies have received verbal commitments from 25 players. With time to spare and a few spots to fill, there are still some players Texas A&M would love to score a commitment from.

Here's a glance at some of the players the Aggies have offered and would love to have as they look to close out the 2013 class:

Ricky Seals-Jones
WR, Sealy, Texas/Sealy
At 6-foot-5, 230 pounds, Seals-Jones is ranked as the no. 1 receiver in the country and 10th overall in the ESPN 150. At The Opening, he said that Texas -- the team he was formerly committed to -- was still the team to beat but that Texas A&M, LSU, Baylor and Oregon are also teams he is considering. He's a dual-sport star who wants to play both football and basketball at the college level.
Justin Manning
A commitment from Dallas Kimball's Justin Manning would be a big addition to Texas A&M's already deep 2013 class.
Justin Manning
DT, Dallas/Kimball
The Aggies have gone heavy on defensive linemen in this class to help improve depth and Manning would be a big addition to the class if they can get him. He's 6-foot-2, 275 pounds, ranked eighth nationally among defensive tackles and 91st overall in the ESPN 150. Texas A&M is in his top eight.

Mike Mitchell
OLB, Plano, Texas/Prestonwood
Mitchell, 6-foot-4, 216 pounds, wowed onlookers at The Opening, setting the national SPARQ record and running a blazing 4.39-second 40-yard dash. He's ranked 10th at his position, 18th overall in Texas and 121st in the ESPN 150.

Torrodney Prevot
DE, Houston/Alief Taylor
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Prevot is the 19th-ranked defensive end in the country and 34th overall prospect in Texas. The Aggies are in his top six, along with LSU, Southern California, Cal, Oregon and Oklahoma State.

Caleb Benenoch
OG, Katy, Texas/Seven Lakes
A former Michigan State commitment, Benenoch has good size for his position at 6-foot-6 and 321 pounds. He's ranked 19th at guard nationally and is the 47th-ranked player overall in Texas. Texas A&M is among the schools he likes in addition to Texas, Oklahoma and Northwestern.

Trenton Brown OG, Albany, Ga./Georgia Military College
Brown is huge at 6-foot-8, 350 pounds. In addition to Texas A&M, he has offers from Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Houston, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Texas Tech. Brown was on campus with teammate Brandon Golson, a South Carolina commitment, for a visit earlier this month.
