DT Deadrin Senat ready to move forward
By Corey Long
Four-star defensive tackle Deadrin Senat (Immokalee, Fla./Immokalee) backed out of his commitment to Florida State in May, but the 6-foot, 295-pound senior is still considering the Seminoles.
Senat says he keeps in touch with most of the schools that have offered and he hopes to update his recruitment soon.
"I still talk with Florida State and several other schools," Senat says. "Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, South Florida, Missouri, Miami... I try to touch base with most of them.
"But this week my coach and I are going to get together and try to work on a top five and start to get the official visits together."
Senat isn't sure whether he'll take all of his officials after the season or try to work in some this fall. He did say he will go to some in-state programs on unofficial visits and mentioned the FSU-Miami game as a good possibility.
"I will probably get to a few games but I'm not sure if I'm going to make those officials or what," Senat said. "I'll know a lot more this week when my coach and I sit down to talk about it."
