GigEmNation is taking a weekly position-by-position look at the 2014 recruiting class as it relates to Texas A&M, whom the Aggies are targeting, as well as 2013 commits and who on the roster will graduate. Today, we look at the quarterbacks.
Quarterbacks who will graduate: None.
Bear Fenimore, Austin (Texas) Westwood: The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Fenimore visited Texas A&M for the LSU game on Oct. 20 and has also taken unofficials to Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas, among others. He does not have any offers at the moment.
Ronald Monroe, Richmond (Texas) Bush: The 6-2, 171-pound Monroe attended a Texas A&M camp in June and is coming off a productive junior season, his second year as a varsity starter. He led Bush to a 10-2 record, throwing for 1,741 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 243 yards and six touchdowns. He does not have any offers.
Aaron Sharp, Houston Summer Creek: The 6-2, 175-pound Sharp visited Aggieland for the LSU game in October and holds an offer from UTEP. Texas A&M and Texas Tech have shown interest, as have Baylor and TCU, but Texas Tech is contacting him the most among those that haven't offered. The southpaw led Summer Creek to a perfect 10-0 regular season, an 11-1 overall record and a second-round playoff appearance while throwing for 2,954 yards and 37 touchdowns with just six interceptions.
