HOUSTON -- In his team's 22-12 season-opening win over Houston Sterling, Texas A&M commitment and Houston Sharpstown linebacker Reggie Chevis spent a lot of time chasing as the Raiders ran away from the 6-foot-2, 240-pound four-star recruit.
The result was a modest, yet still productive stat line and a bit of frustration for the energetic Chevis, who had six tackles, one for loss, a sack and a forced fumble.
But his Apollos got the win, which was ultimately all that mattered to Chevis.
