ESPN 300 Iheanacho announces top five

On a day when gifts are traditionally exchanged, ESPN 300 wide receiver Frank Iheanacho (Houston/Westside) gave five schools the hope of receiving a nice gift the first Saturday of the new year.

On Christmas day, Iheanacho announced a top five, in alphabetical order, of Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, Oregon and Texas A&M. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound receiver will announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 4.

Iheanacho, the 11th-ranked receiver and the No. 89 overall player in the ESPN 300, said all five schools provide a certain comfort level and offer him a chance to grow on and off the field. Iheanacho also had offers from Florida State, Ole Miss, TCU, Michigan State and several others.
