Prep QBs feel 'the Johnny Football effect'

When dozens of quarterbacks descended on Irving, Texas, for the Elite 11 Dallas regionals Saturday, a face familiar to all of them showed up and offered some words of advice: Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Not only is the Heisman Trophy-winning Manziel someone to look up to for college hopefuls, he's the one they're studying and emulating, says RecruitingNation's Mitch Sherman. Only about three years older than many of the quarterbacks in attendance, Manziel's effect on the next generation of QBs is profound.
