Sam Khan Jr./ESPN.comTexas A&M quarterback commit Kohl Stewart could be taken high in the 2013 MLB draft. Stewart, a Texas A&M commitment for both sports, was humbled by the honor.
"There are a lot of kids that are in my shoes that are better than I am and have worked harder than I have," Stewart said. "There are a lot of people around me that have helped me get where I am. I kind of just have to stay humble. It's fun to just kind of take it all in and thank the people in my family who have done what they have done for me."
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback, who is ranked seventh among pocket passers nationally, has long been committed to the Aggies. He comes from a Texas A&M family -- his parents went there, while his older brother and sister are currently thre . He remembers well his first Aggieland experience -- a historic one in Texas A&M lore -- which came courtesy of a family friend and well-known Aggie, the late Paul Wahlberg. Wahlberg was a class of 1950 graduate for whom the Aggies' golf learning center is named and was a 1985 A&M Hall of Honor inductee.
